Techniques for Meditation & Relaxation at Home
(NEW DATE TO BE SCHEDULED)
A workshop to explore meditation and deep relaxation. As we know from our classes, resting the nervous system is as important as any Asana. Through breath, meditation and yoga Nidra, the body deeply rests keeping our free flow of prana (qi, chi) moving through the body, promoting deep healing and igniting the body to heal itself.
This workshop will encourage and give you the tools to take this practice home, making it part of your life and quickly seeing both physical and mental benefits. It brings clarity and helps us address the everyday obstacles from a different place.
Cost: £22

Gong Bath
(NEW DATE TO BE SCHEDULED)
Join us for a soothing and deeply nourishing gong and sound bath provided by Michelle of Ahimsa Holistic Therapies & Yoga.
A Gong Bath is a luxurious healing sonic massage for the body and mind as you lie on your mat and relax with the sounds and vibrations of the gong encompassing your body. An experience of meditation and sound healing will allow you to release energies that no longer serve you, making room for light and positive energies to flow through your being.
The session will begin with some gentle and restorative yoga to start to relax the body and mind ready to experience the gong and sound bath. At the end there is a profound silence in the gong space – in Sanskrit known as “shunyata” – this sacred silent space is as important as the sounds made during the bath itself. It is a time to absorb the quiet and peace while the gongs are still working energetically on your body.
You will then be gently woken with the sound of koshi chimes to come back down to earth and enjoy a calming cup of tea in our lovely snug.
The perfect way to start your weekend.
