Following the outstanding success of Andy’s recent Meditation Masterclass at Thaxted Yoga, we are delighted to offer a new monthly meditation masterclass.
Have you ever thought about trying meditation and mindfulness classes but thought that you couldn’t sit still or that your mind was too busy? Do you tell yourself that you don’t have time?
If you knew the benefits of regular meditation would it change your perspective?
Learn how to sit comfortably (suitable for all bodies), and each month practice and develop a meditation practice. Bring a notebook and pen as these masterclasses will provide you with opportunities to make notes and journal your practice.
The science bit.. Research indicates that the effects of meditation on depressive symptoms are very similar to anti-depressant medications, and that mindfulness positively impacts anxiety and social anxiety.
The masterclasses will feature led meditations which will then also be discussed, to offer you an opportunity to learn and explore how to re-balance yourself.
Andy’s training in meditation is with both the classical Indian yoga meditations, and with Buddhist Mindfulness practices from his teacher, the late Michael Stone.
