Our Beginners Yoga class focuses on physical yoga postures (asanas), connecting breath with movement with each class ending with a guided relaxation. This class is designed for those who are new to yoga or those who are looking to get a more in-depth explanation of postures and alignment to safely move through each pose to receive the full benefits for body and mind.
Beginners Yoga is taught by Claire 8:10pm Mondays and Jemma 11am Fridays.
Dynamic Yoga is a flowing sequence of asanas (postures) derived from Ashtanga Yoga and takes influence from Vinyasa Flow.
Postures are held for a few breaths and are connected with a flowing sequence introduced at the start of each class. The intensity of each Dynamic Yoga class may vary. It is a great way to strengthen your body, calm the mind, improve flexibility and improve your balance. This class is an open level class suitable for all, however, please be aware that based on the flowing nature of the class there will not be detailed in-depth how-to explanations for complete beginners. If you are new to yoga you can still give the class a try, providing you are of good health and fitness. That said, modifications are offered for those who wish to take it at a slower pace and therefore the class is suitable for all levels.
Dynamic Yoga is taught by Mary 7:45pm on Thursdays and 8:30am Saturdays.
Gentle Integral Yoga
Feel nourished, deeply relaxed, clear-minded and re-vitalised. Allow yourself time to relax with this gentle yoga practice.
Through postures (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), sound vibration (mantra), and deep relaxation (yoga nidra) be guided to a place of stillness as you move and stretch the body, calm the mind, relax and rejuvenate. The class can be as challengingor as restful as you need on the day as you learn to hear and honour your intuition in the moment.
Perfect for anyone who has not experienced the healing benefits of Yoga before, as you learn how to develop a non-competitive, safe personal practice. Also valuable for people with previous yoga experience who would like to re-visit their foundation and explore a traditional Hatha class.
Gentle Integral Yoga is taught by Lolli Lalitha on Thursdays 9:30am & Saturdays at 10am.
An energetic Hatha-based yoga class focusing on core strength with flowing transitions between postures to connect movement with breath. This is an open level class suitable for all levels, however, beginning level students should know that there will not be much detailed “how to do” descriptions. This class focuses on core strengthening exercises in addition to traditional yoga poses and counter-poses and how they benefit your body and mind.
Please note that this class also includes sun salutations, balancing postures, an introduction to arm balances and from time to time, inversions. We have two variations of our Hatha Yoga class – one for beginners-improver level with Lolli and the other for intermediate to advanced with Jemma.
Hatha Yoga is taught by Lolli 9:30am on Tuesdays and 6:30pm Wednesdays and Jemma Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30.
Mindful Flow Yoga
Mindful Flow yoga class is open to all levels and all bodies. Set to music this movement based class will flow through a natural progression of breathing techniques, moving meditation and dynamic movement, and conclude with relaxation or a deeper meditation. Incorporating traditional techniques from yoga, with elements of qi gong, tai chi and other movement disciplines, you will be encouraged to explore your relationship with your breath, mind, body and movement.
Yoga for pregnant women tailored to your changing and growing bodies. Learn techniques to support you through your pregnancy and prepare you for your birth experience.
The class is suitable for all stages of pregnancy and no previous yoga experience is required.
Pregnancy Yoga is taught by Jemma 7:45pm Tuesdays.
Mum & Baby Yoga
A gentle yoga class tailored to the postnatal period to help recovery and healing whilst bonding with your new baby.
We also practice baby yoga to increase mobility, aid digestion and encourage a calm and relaxed mood. This also helps you feel connected to your baby. We offer our Mum & Baby Yoga classes as 6 week courses at different times of the year. These are usually offered in two age groups from 0-4 months and 4 months to crawling. Gentle Yoga is a Hatha-based yoga class designed for those who wish to focus on a slower more relaxed practice to gently stretch and open the body. During this class you will relax your body and mind as well as focus on improving posture. Perfect for beginners, seniors, those returning to practice after a break or those recovering from past injury.
Gentle Yoga is taught by Jemma 11am Wednesdays.
Perfect for those looking for a slower, deeper practice. Restorative Yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props (bolsters, straps, blankets, etc). The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body.
Our Restorative Yoga class will incorporate a short sequence to enhance inner radiance followed by some deeply relaxing long held postures using props to soothe the nervous system, heighten body awareness and encourage mindfulness. This class will calm the mind, body and spirit and leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. Restorative Yoga is the centering of your breath and body – aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. This class is suitable for all levels and can be as relaxing or as challenging as you need on the day.

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Theresa’s Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra class begins with a focus on restorative yoga postures to encourage a release of deep-rooted muscular tension, stress and tightness. This practice includes long held postures using props to soothe the nervous system, heighten body awareness and encourage mindfulness.
Following the restorative yoga postures you will be guided through Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, which is a deeply relaxing and immensely powerful meditation technique.
This class will calm the mind, body and spirit and leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
